Mr. Lawrence Tripura is a 50 years old resident of Oabreing Para (village community) in the territory of Bandarban Parish. He came to Bandarban to participate in a seminar for lay adults and village prayer teams of Bandarban Parish which is held on 11-12 March 2016 in the parish centre. He spoke to CDNS at the end of the seminar, said, “The seminar was very
important to me as I have learnt here how to conduct prayer service at para. It also assisted me to explore the blessing and mercy of God in my life. From now on I will emphasize to prepare children for receiving sacraments and guide them to lead ideal christian life.” Mr. Lawrence proposed to organize such type of seminars at the para level so that more people can participate.
Fatima Rani Catholic Church, Bandarban organized the seminar with main theme “Importance of family rosary prayer and experiencing mercy of God in family”. 78 lay adults including village prayer teams participated in the event. Parish Priest of Bandarban Father Dominic Sarkar, CSC presented talk on the main theme.
